Shtetl Life: A Concert

Sunday, Aug. 23 at 11:30 a.m. | Traditional Yiddish folk songs transport you to Eastern European Jewish life in the shtetl—those small Ashkenazi towns where these melodies took root and sustained generations. Singer Katelyn Isaacson, violinist David Brown, and pianist Jodie Brown bring them to life, drawing from the album Shtetl Life, inspired by recordings of Isaacson’s great-aunt Chassie Margolis, keeper of these songs.
